Carter Machinery Company

Carter Machinery, a Caterpillar dealer based in Salem, Virginia, announced an agreement to acquire the assets of Baltimore-based Alban Tractor Co. The acquisition will expand Carter's service territory to include Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Terms were not disclosed.

Carter Machinery Company, Inc. became the authorized GOMACO distributor for the state of Virginia.
