Techno UMG Co., Ltd.

Techno UMG, a joint venture combining the ABS resin businesses of JSR (via Technopolymer) and Ube Industries/Mitsubishi Chemical (via UMG ABS), was launched on April 1, 2018. The new company has annual sales of about JPY 85 billion and production capacity of 400,000 tons per year.

Ube Industries, JSR and Mitsubishi Chemical established Techno UMG Co., Ltd. on April 1, 2018, integrating their ABS resin businesses. JSR holds 51%, UMG (owned equally by Ube and Mitsubishi Chemical) holds 49%.
