Marlowe plc

Marlowe, a UK specialist services company, acquired wastewater treatment and compliance services provider WPL for an enterprise value of £10 million. WPL will join Marlowe's Environmental Engineering Division.

AIM-listed Marlowe Plc acquired wastewater treatment and compliance services provider WPL Limited for an enterprise value of £10 million. WPL specializes in custom design, manufacture and on-site delivery of wastewater treatment solutions.

Marlowe plc has entered into a conditional agreement to acquire Clearwater Group Limited for an enterprise value of £11 million. Clearwater provides water treatment, hygiene and compliance services across the UK and Ireland.

Marlowe acquired Suez WCS, a UK water treatment and hygiene services business, for an enterprise value of £4.5 million. Suez WCS employs approximately 170 staff and generated revenues of £13.2 million in 2017.

WCS Group, a Marlowe plc division, acquired the commercial water treatment, hygiene and Legionella testing interests and assets of Suez Water Conditioning Services UK, including B&V Water and Sentinel Water, adding about 172 staff and making WCS Group the No.1 UK water treatment business with circa £40 million annualised revenue.

Marlowe plc has acquired Guardian Water Treatment Limited for up to £2.8 million on a cash and debt-free basis. The deal includes an upfront payment of £2.4 million and a capped earn-out of £0.85 million.
