Kara Holding

Kara Holding, with Swiss and Austrian partners, will build a lyocell fiber factory in the Gaziantep Industrial Zone with a total investment of 400 million euros. Initial annual capacity is 20,000 tons, with plans to expand to 80,000 tons.

Karweb Nonwovens, a subsidiary of Kara Holding, added an Andritz spunlace line to its facility in Gaziantep, Turkey, in 2017. The company already operates an airlaid nonwoven line and is the only Turkish producer of airlaid.
