PurLucid Treatment Solutions

MGX Minerals announced that engineering partner PurLucid Treatment Solutions delivered the first commercial-scale 750 barrel per day petrolithium and advanced wastewater treatment system to a centralized facility north of Edmonton, Alberta. The system is in final electrical connection and expected to begin processing wastewater in early November 2018.

MGX Minerals and PurLucid are deploying their first wastewater and lithium extraction system at a SAGD operation in the Alberta oilsands. Site preparation and integration engineering are near completion.

MGX Minerals Inc. increased its ownership in engineering partner PurLucid Treatment Solutions to 55% with an investment of $2.6 million.

PurLucid Treatment Solutions has partially commissioned the commercial-scale NFLi5 lithium recovery system at its new manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta, capable of processing 750 barrels of brine per day.

PurLucid Treatment Solutions has signed a contract with an oilfield operator for wastewater processing valued up to C$2 million annually, in addition to value from extracted lithium and minerals.
