Hargassner

Hargassner, an Austrian biomass heating equipment supplier, acquired Gilles Energie- und Umwelttechnik, a developer of wood pellet and chip heating systems, to strengthen its position in the European heating market.

Hargassner has broken ground on a new Energy-World facility in Weng, Austria, including a biomass exhibition, training center, and cinema. The expansion will create 40 new jobs and is expected to be completed by 2019.
