Aggreko Plc shareholders approved a $3 billion takeover by private equity firms TDR Capital and I Squared Capital.

Aggreko, a supplier of portable power generators, has agreed to a £2.3 billion takeover by a consortium led by TDR Capital and I Squared Capital at 880p per share.

Conrad Energy has agreed to acquire Viridis Power, adding over 320MW to its portfolio for a total of 1.1GW of flexible generation assets. The combined entity aims to grow to 2.2GW, making it the largest flexible generation platform in the UK.

Ørsted has completed the acquisition of 100% equity interest in Lincoln Clean Energy LLC from I Squared Capital. Ørsted will create a new business unit named Onshore Wind.

I Squared Capital Advisors agreed to acquire Lima-based energy company Inkia Energy Ltd. from Kenon Holdings for $1.2 billion.
