Azito Energie

GE has been selected by Azito Energie S.A. to provide gas turbine technology and services for the Azito phase IV power plant extension in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The extension will add 253 MW, and GE will supply a GT13E2 gas turbine, HRSG, steam turbine generator and 20-year services.

GE's power services business signed an agreement with Azito Energie to upgrade two gas turbines at the Azito combined-cycle power plant, adding up to 30MW of generation capacity. This is GE's first GT13E2 MXL2 gas turbine upgrade order in sub-Saharan Africa.
