Taeyang Metal Industrial breaks ground on first US plant in Franklin, Kentucky
South Korea-based Taeyang Metal Industrial Co. Ltd. broke ground on its first U.S. facility in Franklin, Kentucky. The 101,000-square-foot plant will produce cold-rolled steel products and fasteners for the automotive industry, with an expected opening in September 2018 and 70-80 new jobs.
