Lincoln Premium Poultry is constructing a poultry processing plant in Fremont, Nebraska, to process chicken exclusively for Costco. The facility will have capacity for 2 million chickens per week and is expected to be completed by June 2019.

Marel has been chosen to equip Lincoln Premium Poultry, Costco's newly formed poultry processing company, with state-of-the-art technology for a greenfield plant in Fremont, Nebraska. The order includes three complete slaughter lines, chilling systems, cut-up lines, deboning equipment, and bone detection machines, marking the largest single order in Marel's history.
