China Machinery Engineering Co (CMEC) and General Electric (GE) signed a cooperation agreement on August 7, 2019, for the Ncondezi coal and electricity integration project in Mozambique. The project is the first large-scale coal and electricity undertaking in Mozambique.

Ncondezi Energy signed a Joint Development Agreement with China Machinery Engineering Corporation and General Electric to co-develop and construct the 300MW coal-fired power project and coal mine in Tete, Mozambique.

Ncondezi Energy signed a non-binding offer with China Machinery Engineering Corporation and General Electric South Africa for the development, construction and operation of a 300MW coal power plant and mine in Tete, Mozambique.
