The project has a lifecycle volume of about 800,000 vehicles and an estimated sales value of CNY 1.45 billion, with mass production planned for 2019.

Carrier China was chosen by FAW-Volkswagen to supply full inverter variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems for the employee dormitory of its East China base in Qingdao. The dormitory covers 20,000 square meters and will house over 8,000 employees.
