Halma

Halma plc, through its subsidiary SunTech Medical, completed the acquisition of all shares of Meditech Kft., a manufacturer of ambulatory blood pressure monitors and ECG Holter devices based in Budapest, Hungary. Meditech becomes a business unit of SunTech.

Valencell secured financing from strategic investors led by Halma, with participation from existing investors, to accelerate investments in biometric sensor systems and blood pressure technology. Terms were not disclosed.

Halma businesses Hanovia and Berson have launched the AmaLine R low-pressure UV disinfection system for municipal, reuse, and wastewater treatment. The two companies are merging into a unified global company within Halma.
