Burns & McDonnell was selected to provide owner's engineering for Kineticor's 900 MW Cascade Power Project in Edson, Alberta, and detailed design engineering for a new GE LM6000 gas turbine at the City of Medicine Hat's existing facility.

SaskPower has commissioned the 353MW Chinook natural gas-fired power station near Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. The project was completed on time and $75 million under budget, with a final cost of $605 million. It created over 500 construction jobs and will employ 25 permanent workers.

ANDRITZ received a contract from SaskPower to refurbish six units at the E.B. Campbell hydroelectric power station in Saskatchewan, Canada. The contract value is over 90 million euros.
