MicroLink Devices announced a $9.5 million expansion of its Niles, Illinois facility to increase production of solar cells and solar sheets, creating 9 new jobs and retaining 54 jobs.

MicroLink Devices entered into an exclusive license agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory to commercialize inverted metamorphic multi-junction solar cell technology for satellites and solar aircraft.
