KSB has been awarded a INR5 billion (about $63 million) contract by Nuclear Power Corporation of India to supply eight primary coolant pumps, with motors and spares, for units 5 and 6 at the Kaiga nuclear plant in Karnataka. Deliveries are expected to start in 2026.
Godrej & Boyce won a Rs 468 crore order from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India to supply steam generators for the 700 MW pressurized heavy water reactor project, to be manufactured at its Dahej facility in Gujarat.
Larsen & Toubro received a Rs 747 crore order from NPCIL to supply steam generators and end shields for 700 MWe PHWR units at GHAVP in Fatehabad, Haryana, to be manufactured at its Hazira complex in Gujarat.
KSB Pumps secured orders worth Rs 413 crore from Nuclear Power Corporation of India to supply primary coolant pumps and electric motors with auxiliaries for the Gorakhpur Haryana Anu Vidyut Pariyojana I and II project. Deliveries are phased over 2022 and 2023.
