Daikin America, an international fluorochemical supplier, announced plans to expand its Decatur, Alabama facility with an investment of up to $195 million and creation of approximately 50 jobs.

Daikin America will invest up to $195 million to add polymer production capability and other enhancements at its Decatur, Alabama facility, creating 50 new jobs.

Daikin America announced a $5 million expansion at its State Docks Road site in Decatur, Alabama, to install a process for blending refrigerant components to produce lower-global-warming refrigerant blends. The expansion will create nine new jobs.
