Nordgold and Vostochnaya Technica have signed a strategic agreement for mining equipment maintenance, spare parts supply and staff training at Nordgold's Russian operations.

Nordgold signed a strategic agreement with Vostochnaya Technica, a Cat dealer in Russia, for maintenance, spare parts supply and training to improve the performance of its 40-unit Cat mining fleet at the Gross, Taborny and Irokinda mines.

Nordgold and Vostochnaya Technica signed an agreement to supply primary mining equipment and services to the Gross gold project in Russia. The total value is estimated at US$60 million over 5 years, with the mine expected to launch in 2018.

SUEK placed an order with Caterpillar dealer Vostochnaya Technica for a complete armored face conveyor system for a 400 m longwall face at the Yalevskogo mine in Siberia. Commissioning is planned for early 2018.
