LS Cable & System Asia will invest 10 billion won ($9.25 million) into LS-VINA to expand annual Cu-Rod production capacity to 100,000 tons, up 3.7 times from current levels. Commercial production begins first half of 2019.

LS Cable & System Asia's Vietnamese subsidiary LS-VINA signed an exclusive $67 million contract to supply 22kV cables to Singapore's SP Power Assets for two years.

LS Cable & System Asia announced a KRW 10 billion (approx. USD 10 million) investment in its subsidiary LS-VINA in Haiphong, Vietnam, to increase annual copper rod production capacity from 27,000 tons to 100,000 tons. Production and sales are expected to begin in the first half of 2019.

LS Cable & System Vietnam, a subsidiary of LS Cable & System Asia, decided to invest KRW 5 billion to expand a busduct production line at its LSCV site in Vietnam.
