ACS broke ground on a new 48,000-square-foot headquarters in Verona, Wisconsin, combining office and manufacturing space for increased capacity in fabrication and assembly.

Mitsui & Co., through a 50-50 joint venture with Tedagua, will build, own and operate a seawater desalination plant and water conveyance system for BHP's Spence copper mine in Chile. The project requires an investment of around $623 million and will supply fresh water via a 150km pipeline over 20 years.

New Power Plasma has decided to absorb its wholly owned subsidiary ACS, with the merger ratio set at 1:0 and the merger date scheduled for September 26, 2017, to improve operational efficiency and enhance synergy between businesses.
