Northern Ireland Electricity Networks Limited

Morrow Contracts has been awarded a £36.5 million cable laying contract by Northern Ireland Electricity Networks for work in Belfast and east districts, covering excavation, cable laying and reinstatement for three and a half years with an optional three-year extension.

Northern Ireland Electricity Networks has awarded a £1,850,000 contract to Hapam B.V. for the supply of 110 kV disconnectors for a period of 5 years, with an option to extend for 2 years. The contract starts on 6 August 2019.

Northern Ireland Electricity Networks published a tender for the design, supply, fit and test of 11kV Circuit Breaker Retrofits for Reyrolle LMT and South Wales Switchgear C4X switchgear. The framework is valued at £4.4 million, for a period of 3 years with an option to extend by 2 years.

Winder Power was awarded a five-year contract by Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) valued at over £9 million to supply around 50 primary transformers for substations in and around Belfast.
