On October 29, 2020, BAADER acquired a majority stake in Skaginn 3X, an Icelandic provider of advanced chilling and food processing technology systems. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Cermaq is building a new salmon processing plant in Steigen, Norway, and has chosen Baader as the main equipment supplier and contractor. The plant is scheduled to be operational by Q2 2018.
