Addivant

SK Capital Partners completed the acquisition of SI Group, a performance additives developer, and combined it with its portfolio company Addivant. The combined company operates under the SI Group brand with over 3,000 employees and 30 manufacturing facilities.

SK Capital Partners announced an agreement to acquire SI Group, a global developer and manufacturer of performance additives and intermediates. At close, SK Capital will combine SI Group with its portfolio company Addivant to create a global leader in plastic, lubricant, oilfield and rubber additives.

Addivant expanded production capacity for its Ultranox 626 antioxidant by more than 40% at its Morgantown, West Virginia plant. Financial details were not disclosed.

Addivant held a ribbon-cutting event at its Morgantown, WV facility to celebrate a major capacity expansion for Weston 705 phosphite antioxidant, involving a multi-million dollar investment that more than triples production capacity.
