Tenaris

Saipem, which holds the EPCI contract for TotalEnergies' GranMorgu project, has selected Tenaris to supply 37,000 tons of coated seamless line pipe and thermal insulation coatings. Production will take place in Italy and Mexico.

TotalEnergies has awarded Tenaris a contract to supply about 47,000 tons of casing and tubing plus Rig Direct services for the GranMorgu offshore project off Suriname. First oil is expected in 2028.

Tenaris will invest 11 million US dollars to upgrade the caster line at its Koppel, Pennsylvania facility so it can produce larger steel bars. The project is expected to take 14 months and finish in the second quarter of 2021.

Tenaris has rolled out a new $1.8 billion pipe plant at Bay City, Texas, as reported on 13 December 2017.
