Trane Technologies acquired a majority stake in MTA, an Italian leader in process cooling, air conditioning, and compressed air and gas treatment solutions, from Chequers Capital. MTA recorded sales of over €100 million in 2022.

Trane has acquired Italy-based industrial cooling specialist MTA, adding 500 employees and two manufacturing sites in Italy to expand its European capabilities in process cooling, air conditioning and air treatment.

Trane Technologies acquired MTA, an Italian manufacturer of industrial process cooling, air conditioning and air treatment solutions, to strengthen its HVAC offerings in pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and automotive markets.

Bosch Thermotechnology has signed agreements to acquire Italian chiller manufacturer MTA SpA, which produces industrial and commercial HVAC systems with a focus on chillers and heat pumps up to 1.7MW. MTA employs 400 people and generated €76m in 2016 sales.
