Shrieve Chemical Company, a portfolio company of Gemspring Capital, has acquired TLC Ingredients, Inc., a distributor of food ingredients, industrial chemicals, and phenolic resins. Terms were not disclosed.

Zavation Medical Products, a portfolio company of Gemspring Capital, acquired CoreLink, a provider of spinal implant and instrumentation systems, from The Stephens Group. Financial terms were not disclosed.

White Oak Partners initiated the add-on acquisition of IER Electrical Equipment and Controls by Chicago Switchboard, a portfolio company of Promise Holdings. IER manufactures custom power distribution and motor control products.

Therma Holdings LLC, a portfolio company of Gemspring Capital, acquired Yearout Mechanical, an Albuquerque-based design-build provider of mechanical, fabrication and maintenance services. The acquisition expands Therma's geographic footprint into the New Mexico market.

Gemspring Capital, a private equity firm, acquired Therma Corporation, a specialty mechanical contractor focusing on HVAC, high purity process piping and process controls for cleanrooms and high-tech manufacturing facilities.
