Kaneka Americas Holding

Kaneka Aerospace, a subsidiary of Kaneka Americas Holding, has acquired the benzoxazine-based high performance composites business from Henkel Corporation, including prepregs, film adhesives, and infusion resins. The deal closed on January 30, 2018.

Kaneka Corporation, through its subsidiary Kaneka Americas Holding, agreed to acquire all shares of Applied Poleramic Inc. (API) for approximately USD 15 million. API is a formulated advanced resin supplier for aerospace composites, and the acquisition marks Kaneka's full-scale entry into the aerospace business.
