Proxa (Pty) Ltd contracted by Sasol Synfuels (Pty) Ltd to upgrade a feed water process at a synthetic fuels and chemicals plant in Secunda, South Africa, using Evoqua's Ionpure CEDI modules. The containerized system was installed and commissioned, delivering 100 m³/hr of ultrapure water for boiler feed.

Siemens awarded contract to upgrade controls system at Nehuenco power plant in Chile
Siemens was awarded a contract by Colbún S.A. to upgrade the Central Termoeléctrica Nehuenco-I plant in Quillota, Chile, with the SPPA-T3000 Cue control system. The 368 MW combined cycle power plant will receive new controls and migration of existing systems.
