Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Incorporated announced a definitive agreement to acquire IAA, Inc. in a stock and cash transaction valued at approximately $7.3 billion, including the assumption of $1.0 billion of net debt. The deal creates a leading global marketplace for commercial assets and vehicles.

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SmartEquip, a multi-manufacturer platform for equipment service lifecycle management and parts procurement, for approximately $175 million.

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers will acquire Rouse Services for approximately $275 million. Rouse provides data intelligence and performance benchmarking solutions for the industrial equipment industry.

Ritchie Bros. completed its purchase of IronPlanet for approximately $758.5 million, financed through a senior note offering and secured term loan facility. The deal also initiates a five-year alliance with Caterpillar.
