Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID)

A joint venture of Sumitomo Electric and Siemens won an EPC contract from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for an HVDC transmission system in southern India, including 128 km of underground cable. The project value is approximately 60 billion yen.
