TenCate Advanced Composites

Toray Industries has agreed to acquire TenCate Advanced Composites from Koninklijke Ten Cate for €930 million ($1.1 billion). The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2018.

Toray Industries Inc. agreed to acquire TenCate Advanced Composites from Koninklijke Ten Cate B.V. for an enterprise value of €930 million. The acquisition will expand Toray's high-performance thermoplastic and thermoset composites offering for aerospace and industrial markets.

TenCate Advanced Composites and Airborne signed a long-term supply agreement for advanced thermoset composite materials. Airborne will use the materials to create substrate panels for the ARA Mk4 solar array system for satellites, deployed on European Space Agency missions.
