Holding Soprema S.A. acquired a majority stake in Termo-Organika, the largest producer of polystyrene boards in Poland, from financial partner NPN II S.a.r.l. and minority shareholders.

SOPREMA has acquired DERBIGUM Americas.

SOPREMA hosted a grand opening for its new 21,600-square-foot resin production plant at its Wadsworth, Ohio campus on February 21, 2018. The plant is already manufacturing resin for roofing and waterproofing products and has created new jobs.

Soprema is constructing a new 178,000 sq ft plant in Sherbrooke, Quebec, to produce extruded polystyrene thermal insulation panels. The $42.8 million project will create 56 jobs and start production in April 2018.

Soprema has selected Woodstock, Ontario as the site for a new manufacturing facility for waterproofing, insulation, and soundproofing products.
