Elsewedy Cables

Elsewedy Cables' Qatari unit was awarded an EPC contract by Technip Energies for a 400kV cables project related to the North Field South Onshore Project in Qatar, including design, engineering, procurement and installation of two 400kV cables and transformers to supply energy for two LNG mega trains.

Larsen & Toubro's construction arm secured its single-largest order worth Rs 5,250 crore ($800M) from Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) for engineering, procurement and construction of 30 gas insulated sub-stations and 560 km of underground cables in Qatar.
