KION opens India's largest material handling equipment facility in Pune
KION India Private Limited inaugurated Factory 2.0 in Koregaon Bhima, Pune, with an investment of over INR 125 Crores (EUR 15 million). The facility has an annual production capacity of 10,000 units and employs over 400 people.

KION India merges Voltas and Om forklift brands in India
KION India announced that its Indian forklift truck brand Voltas will join forces with the Italian brand Om in India. Trucks with Voltas technology will be marketed under the name Om Voltas, and KION India will also sell products based on Italian Kion brand technology under the Om name.
