Lehigh Hanson

Lehigh Hanson announced a $600 million modernization and expansion of its Lehigh Cement Company plant in Mitchell, Indiana, increasing production capacity and reducing emissions. Construction begins in 2020, completion by end of 2022.

Cadman Materials Inc., a subsidiary of HeidelbergCement, agreed to acquire 14 ready mixed, aggregate and asphalt operations in Washington and Oregon from Cemex USA.

Cadman Materials Inc., a Lehigh Hanson company, agreed to buy Cadman Pacific Northwest Materials, a Cemex subsidiary with aggregate, asphalt and ready-mix concrete operations in Oregon and Washington, for about $150 million. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close in Q2 2017 or shortly after.
