Ashland Global Holdings Inc. completed the sale of its Composites business and butanediol manufacturing facility in Marl, Germany, to INEOS Enterprises for $1.015 billion.

INEOS Enterprises completed the acquisition of the entire composites business from Ashland Global Holdings Inc., including a BDO facility in Germany. The businesses have combined sales of over $1.1 billion per year and employ 1,250 people across 19 sites.

Ashland Global Holdings amended the purchase agreement for the sale of its Composites business and butanediol facility in Marl, Germany to INEOS Enterprises, removing the maleic business from the sale while keeping the purchase price at $1.1 billion. The sale is expected to close in late summer 2019.

Ashland Global Holdings Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately owned Pharmachem Laboratories, Inc. for $660 million in an all-cash transaction. Pharmachem supplies ingredients to health and wellness industries and products to fragrance and flavor houses.

Ashland Global Holdings Inc made a binding offer to acquire a composites resin manufacturing facility in Etain, France, from Reichhold Holdings International B.V. The transaction is expected to close by end of June 2017.
