Mogilevkhimvolokno

OAO Mogilevkhimvolokno announced a tender to purchase complete technological equipment for polyester nonwoven fabric production worth EUR 9.667 million. Delivery is scheduled by September 30, 2023.

Mogilevkhimvolokno plans to launch the first phase of a polyester fiber production line in July 2018, with a capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year. The equipment from Oerlikon Neumag cost about €16 million.

Belarus plans to build a new industrial cluster on the basis of Mogilevkhimvolokno, a polyester fibres producer, to increase technical textiles and nonwovens production. The investment is estimated at EUR 208 million at the initial stage, with government funding.
