The Plansee Group will increase its stake in Ceratizit S.A. from 50% to a majority interest, effective March 1, 2021. The transaction is subject to antitrust approval and financial details are confidential.

Ceratizit Austria GmbH has started construction on an extension to its manufacturing plant in Reutte, Austria. The new building, with an investment in the double-digit million euro range, will house up to 300 workers and is expected to be ready by spring 2022.

Plansee announced a €10 million investment in a new production line for medical engineering products at its Breitenwang facility in Reutte, Austria. The line is expected to enter use within 12 months and is part of a total €46 million investment at the site.
