Egypt plans new polypropylene factory at Sidpec headquarters in Alexandria
Egypt plans to build a new polypropylene factory at Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Co.'s (Sidpec) headquarters in Alexandria, with investments of $800 million to $1 billion. The facility will have a production capacity of 450,000 tpa and is expected to be operational in 2021.
