Hengtong Optic-Electric Co., Ltd.

Leoni and Hengtong Optic-Electric have signed a framework investment agreement to establish a joint venture in Jena, Germany, for the production of single-mode optical fibers for telecommunications and data networks.

Jiangsu Hengtong HV Power Cable System, a subsidiary of Hengtong Optic-Electric, received a notification of award from CGN to supply 220 kV submarine cables for the 400,000 kW offshore wind farm project in Yangjiang, Guangdong, with an estimated contract value of CNY 331 million.

Jiangsu Hengtong High Pressure Sea Cable Co., a subsidiary of Hengtong Optic-Electric, won bids to supply undersea photoelectric composite cables worth CNY317 million ($47 million) to two offshore wind farms in Dalian and Tangshan, China. The contracts were announced on August 2, 2017.

Hengtong Optic-Electric Co., Ltd. received a notice of award from State Grid Corporation of China for a 500kV submarine cable project in Zhoushan, Zhejiang, worth CNY 165.8 million.
