Montupet

Linamar, through its subsidiary Linamar Montupet Light Metal Casting, has invested over €15 million to modernize the production tooling at its aluminum casting plant in Diors, France, including a 6-station molding line, molding bases, core-making industrialization, and 6 machining lines.

Montupet, a subsidiary of Linamar, has signed a contract with Daimler to supply cylinder heads, with production of 230,000 units per year at the Châteauroux plant. Linamar is also investing EUR 13 million in 2017 for the contract.
