Australian food importer F. Mayer Imports has commissioned a transcritical CO2 plant with ammonia chillers at its food distribution warehouse in Melbourne, Australia. The plant, built by Strathbrook Industrial Services, is 30 times larger in volume than previous systems but has only increased power usage by 70%.
