Advanced Power

Advanced Power sold a 15% membership interest in South Field Energy Partners to ENEOS Power USA, an affiliate of JXTG Nippon Oil and Energy Corporation. South Field Energy is a 1,182 MW natural gas-fired power plant under construction in Ohio, with commercial operation scheduled for mid-2021.

Advanced Power selected GE's 7HA.02 gas turbines for the South Field Energy natural gas power plant in Wellsville, Ohio. The 1,182 MW plant will also use GE steam turbine and heat recovery technologies, with a contractual service agreement. Construction starts Q3 2018, completion in Q2 2021.

The 1100 MW Cricket Valley Energy Center, a combined cycle natural-gas-fired power plant in Dover, New York, achieved financial close and entered construction. Commercial operation is expected in 2020.

GE will supply three 7F.05 gas turbines, three steam turbines and heat recovery steam generators for the Cricket Valley Energy Center in New York, a 1,100 MW combined-cycle power plant. GE Capital also helped secure approximately $1 billion in credit facilities for the project.

Cricket Valley Energy Center LLC awarded Bechtel a contract to design and build a 1,100-megawatt natural-gas fired combined-cycle power plant in Dover, New York. The plant will provide electricity for one million homes and create approximately 1,100 construction jobs, with completion expected in 2020.
