Tenaska

JERA Americas completed the transfer of its equity interests in three gas-fueled power plants (Tenaska Virginia, Kiamichi, and Gateway) to Tenaska and Tyr Energy. The transaction closed on September 15, 2025, and involves a combined capacity of 3,005 MW.

J-POWER Westmoreland LLC, a subsidiary of J-POWER USA Investment Co., purchased an equity stake in the 925-MW Tenaska Westmoreland Generating station under construction near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The plant is now jointly owned by Tenaska, Diamond Generating Corp., and J-POWER.
