MAN Truck & Bus

MAN Truck & Bus received its first order for the Lion's City E electric bus, with Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein ordering 17 units. Delivery will begin in the second half of 2020 and be completed by end of 2020.

Johnson Controls Power Solutions has been awarded contracts to supply AGM and flooded batteries to Navistar's North American plants and MAN Truck and Bus's European plants. The company is investing in new AGM manufacturing capabilities at its Hannover, Germany plant to meet demand.

HÖRMANN Automotive GmbH signed an agreement to acquire the 40% stake held by MAN Truck & Bus AG in HÖRMANN Automotive Gustavsburg GmbH, a joint venture producing chassis components and body parts for commercial vehicles. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

Adient's RECARO Automotive Seating product group won a major contract from MAN Truck & Bus AG to supply high-quality commercial vehicle seats for MAN's entire model range. Starting in 2020, RECARO will deliver seats for about 100,000 MAN vehicles per year, increasing the Skarbimierz plant's annual production to 300,000 seats.
