Global Pipe Company of Jubail, Saudi Arabia, ordered a 10 MN mechanical expander and a hydrostatic pipe tester from SMS group for a new manufacturing line that will double its nominal capacity to 400,000 tonnes per year, expected in production in 3Q18.
Global Pipe Company plans to invest SR100 million ($26.65 million) in a new manufacturing line at its Jubail mill, doubling annual capacity from 200,000 to 400,000 tonnes. The line is scheduled to be ready for production in Q3 2018.
