PerkinElmer has agreed to acquire Horizon Discovery Group for approximately $383 million, adding gene editing and gene modulation tools to its life sciences portfolio.

PerkinElmer entered into a definitive agreement to acquire German diagnostics company EUROIMMUN for $1.3 billion. The acquisition is expected to close in Q4 2017.

Varian Medical Systems announced an agreement to acquire PerkinElmer's Medical Imaging business for $276 million, to be added to its Varex Imaging business after separation.
