Schwan's to expand Kansas pizza plant by 400,000 sq ft
Schwan's announced a 400,000-square-foot expansion at its pizza-manufacturing facility in Salina, Kansas, representing an investment of several hundred million dollars. The expansion will create up to 225 new full-time jobs by 2023.

BioAmber and CJ CheilJedang plan joint venture for bio-succinic acid in China
BioAmber signed a non-binding letter of intent with CJ CheilJedang to form a joint venture in China to produce up to 36,000 metric tons of bio-succinic acid annually. Production would begin in Q1 2018 by retrofitting an existing CJCJ fermentation facility.
