Pattonair

Pattonair, a Derby-based aerospace and defence company, has acquired Adams Aviation, an East Sussex aircraft spares company, to strengthen its position in the aerospace market.

Platinum Equity Partners agreed to acquire Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc. for $1.9 billion, combining it with Pattonair, a Platinum Equity-owned supply chain management services company. Wesco shareholders will receive $11.05 per share in cash.

Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc., a distributor and supply chain manager for the aerospace industry, has agreed to be acquired by an affiliate of Platinum Equity in a transaction valued at approximately US$1.9 billion.

Safran Helicopter Engines has awarded a renewed global OEM and MRO parts support contract to Pattonair, covering 16 Safran sites and over 6,000 C class parts to 180 locations worldwide, running through 2025.

Platinum Equity announced plans to acquire UK-based aerospace and defense parts distributor Pattonair from Exponent Private Equity. The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2017.

Pattonair has been awarded a five-year extension to its contract with Rolls-Royce Control Systems to supply C-class parts to RRCS sites in Birmingham, UK, expanding the product portfolio.

Pattonair secured a 10-year contract extension with Siemens Canada Limited and Industrial Turbine Company Limited for the provision of C Class parts for the Industrial RB211 and Industrial Trent engines.
