Finnish Transport Agency contracts Turun Korjaustelakka to build motorized icebreaking bow
The Finnish Transport Agency (Liikennevirasto) has signed a contract with Turun Korjaustelakka Oy to build a motorized icebreaking bow for the Saimaa region. The bow will be completed by the end of 2018 and will be used with a pusher tug to assist ships in ice.

British Steel secures rail supply contract with Finnish Transport Agency
British Steel has secured a contract to supply 5,500 tonnes of rail to the Finnish Transport Agency for the sixth consecutive year. The contract was announced on February 28, 2019, with deliveries to be completed by April 2017.
